China Apparel Exports in 1st Half 2018 (Country Report)

China's apparel exports have been far from plunging in the second quarter of 2018, thanks to the development of sales to other Asian countries. Exports to the United States and the European Union have been very depressed in volume terms, however less significantly falling in value terms. China's exports could however suffer from the threat of additional US tariffs on all Chinese shipments, including apparel. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive picture of China's clothing exports in 2nd quarter 2018, with value changes per destination. Export data are also available over a 4-year period. In addition, the report includes a comprehensive review of US and EU imports from China per product category.
