China Apparel Exports in 1st Quarter 2018 (Country Report)

2018-06-26 15:23:15| EmergingTextiles.com

China's clothing exports have stopped declining in the first quarter, thanks to a recovery of knit apparel shipments whereas woven apparel exports were further affected by the surge of labor costs in the past years. Shipments to Vietnam have surprisingly surged whereas exports to Hong Kong were also rebounding, with products being partly re-exported to other destinations. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive picture of China's clothing exports in 1st quarter 2018, with volume, value and unit price changes per destination. Export data are also available over the 5-year period from 1st quarter 2013. In addition, the report includes a comprehensive review of US and EU imports from China per product category.
