China Apparel Exports in 2nd Quarter 2019 (Quaterly Report)

China's apparel exports have been supported in the second quarter by a surge in US demand, ahead of additional tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. Exports to other major destinations, including Japan have dropped, however, reflecting a long-term decline in demand for Chinese products. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive picture of China's clothing exports in the 2nd quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. Market shares are also available with a series of indices offering a 4-year perspective. Knit, woven and total apparel exports are separately displayed. All data are available for download.
