China's producer prices have hardly risen in January, as a clear sign that the economy has continued slowing down. Textile and apparel industries are however not threatened by deflation with their prices at factory gates more clearly increasing. Chinese exports have recovered due to renewed optimism over a successful end of trade negotiations with the United States. Our statistical report offers a comprehensive view of production costs and consumer prices in China, including in textile and clothing sectors. Labor costs in major provinces are also being followed.
