Colorado lawmakers pass child immunization bill

Colorado parents who choose to delay or opt out of immunizing their children will have one more hurdle to jump when it comes to enrolling their children in school. The state house voted 42-19 to pass a bill that would require parents who want to opt their children out of immunizations for personal reasons to obtain a note from a medical professional stating that they have been advised of the benefits and risks of vaccines.  In lieu of a letter, parents can complete an online state training course about the benefits of vaccines. read more
