Composite Fuel Tank Engineer

2015-05-27 11:06:04| Space-careers.com Jobs RSS

We have a space client based in Germany and they have won the contract to build and design the next generation boosters for Ariane 6. To be more accurate the part of the contract they have won they will be working on the fuel tanks for this project and they will be using a process which is a combination of dry filament winding, dry fibre placement and subsequent resin infusion. Since this is a relatively new process when it comes to fuel tank manufacturing and or development we are looking for engineers with a good background in similar technologies so this position would be open to engineers from the F1 industry as well as any other industries which use this technology. We are expecting this to start within the next few months as this project starts to gain speed. This role would ideally suit a contractor looking for a long term consultancy role within the space industry.
