Thorn SDS has a current role for an experienced Configuration Manager to work with our client EUMETSAT across their Low Earth Orbit programmes. This role will provide the opportunity to work on all the LEO missions witha particular emphasis on the EPSSG EUMETSAT Polar System Second Generation Ground Segment development. If successful you will have ample opportunity for training and career progression both at Thorn SDS and within the clients environment. The successful candidate is likely to be someone who has some experience of conducting and implementing configuration management of large scale software centred systems into an operational environment, ideally in a highly available environment 247. This combined with a formal university education computer sciences or engineering, knowledge of project development methodologies, configuration management and process management tools are likely to be the winning formula!
