We are currently looking for a Configuration Management Tool Support to support our customer in Germany. Configuration Management Tool Support Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Technical and Scientific Support Department, you will have the following responsibilities Maintenance of the existing CM tool instances managing Changes and Configuration Items related to Programmes and Projects being developed, and to operational systems Feasibility studies, user software requirements, development, documentation, unit and verification testing, deployment on test and operational environments Creation, modification, update and version tracking of following Configuration Items o Documentation management and technical documents, including SpacecraftGround Segment operational procedures, manuals and guides o HW items computers, infrastructure, comms equipment o SW items including SW applications, COTS and associated Licences, etc. keeping up to date the mapping between SW and HW items. Review and proposal of improvements to existing applicable Configuration Management processes and working practices Planning and preparation of above mentioned new CM tool instances releases Monitoring and tuning of the tools performances, and impact assessment on existing CM implementation Second level support to CM stakeholders as required. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field Several years of experience in specification, implementation and validation of Business Management Processes electronic workflow applied to large softwareintensive highavailability operational systems, ideally in the field of CM Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
