A prosecutor and a defense attorney offered a jury on Tuesday vastly different versions of the role of a real estate agent in the sale of lots in a Saratoga Springs subdivision where buyers and investors lost money when the U.S. real estate bubble burst about seven years ago. Agent Kimberly Bowen is on trial before a jury of six women and four men on charges that allege she failed to tell buyers of her ownership interest in a development company and failed to disclose that water was not available at the lots when she pitched sales.
