General mission The Contract Manager CM is in charge of the setup and the negotiation of subcontractor contracts and ensures the fulfilment of the contractual terms and conditions with respect to the subcontractor The CM is the expert in terms and conditions internal terms and contract stipulations The CM applies and ensures the supply chain processes and processing of sourcing tools The CM is able to perform cost and value analysis and is focused on total cost acquisition The CM contributes to risk management by focusing on financial and commercial risks Further activities Tender activities supporting the sourcing process for the selection and procurement of subcontractors in direct negotiation, restricted or open competition, establishment of tender documentation, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, attendance of tender evaluation boards with ESA and subcontractors Contracts negotiation of subcontracts, release of ATPs LOLs Preliminary Order Letters etc., finalization of subcontracts, contracts management, contracts administration, claims Management, progress and status reports, change request and contract change management, contract Closeouts Supplier Performance Supervision and Reporting General Reporting performing and reporting procurement gates in line with BMS, report for the commercial contract execution to the SRM and DMext, reporting to the Programme Sourcing SubDomain Manager The Contract Manager CM represents AstriumST according to the internal processes and rules BMS 80101 and CMS 80227 in commercial contractual programme matters and in close collaboration with the respective Supplier Relationship Managers SRMs and Delivery Managers for external work packages DMext with regard to dedicated subcontractors of programmes of the business division Orbital Systems and Space Exploration. Subcontractors that are to be managed by this position are selected from the MPCVESM development programme, the ATV Production programme and other international and national new programmes such as studies. We are looking for candidates with the following skills Degree in Engineering Industrial Engineering, General Business Administration, Economics, Law or similar Knowledge of ESA Best Practices for the selection of subcontractors is desirable SAP knowledge procurement Extensive experience of working in the procurement area Strong negotiation, decisionmaking abilities, proactive, responsive and team spirit International negotiation capabilities would be a plus Fluent in English and German, French would be a plus TO APPLY click here
