Come and lead EUMETSATs dedicated Copernicus Programme Office and support our contribution to the Europes ambitious and exciting Earth Observation Programme EUMETSAT is the European operational satellite agency for monitoring weather, climate and the environment. This is an exciting opportunity, one where you will be entrusted to lead our dedicated Programme Office maintaining and implementing EUMETSATs management framework and delivering all of the tasks entrusted to us for Copernicus Sentinel missions, in cooperation with our partners and the European Commission. You will have the leadership capability to secure adequate support for project control, finance and contracts for this ambitious programme. You will be adept at assimilating information, ensuring that we employ all of the talent, knowledge, skills and expertise available at EUMETSAT and amongst our partners. Your responsibilities will include ensuring our tasks are planned, executed, documented and reported in accordance with the Copernicus Agreements, contributing to internal and external audits and management reporting. You will also represent EUMETSAT at the Copernicus Programme Committee and other governance bodies, including the EUMETSAT Management Board. This is an outstanding opportunity to become involved in one of our most exciting projects. With proven engineering knowledge of endto end Earth Observation Satellite Systems, you will bring your experience of being involved with management of complex European projects, ideally involving the European Commission. You have the prospect of showcasing your understanding and management of complex issues in an operational environment and your ability to identify technical and political implications facing the Programme. You will get the chance to apply your vision and knowledge to demonstrate the potential for our future building excellent working relationships and collaborating with both internal and external customers on a global platform.
