Experience and education The candidate shall have the following background 5 years of experience in maintaining and engineering of evolutions of large scale software systems missioninstrument data processing related. Experience in software development lifecycles Software debugging and profiling tools e.g. GDB, DBX, IBM Purify, Valgrind Source code control systems, preferably Subversion and CVS Competence in SW testing, unit test suite maintenance, automated testing, verification and validation. The candidate shall have the following specific technical skills and experience Experience with production frameworks, job and resource management SW Performance analysis and improvement including Performance monitoring tools and techniques top, NMON, iostat, sar etc. in UNIX environments Networking technologies and tools CCSDS protocols, Space Data Link Protocols, TCPIP, UDP multicast, PGM, FTP, Wireshark Use of and application programming of relational database systems in particular ORACLE, INFORMIX, PostgreSQL and MySQL CCJava programming language experience in a UNIXLinux based environment Knowledge of Scripting languages Python, Perl, TclTk, shell Knowledge of web technologies, programming and markup languages e.g. Apache, CGI, JavaScript, XML and related technologies XPATH, SVG, etc. Interested?
