Cotton prices rose in the first two weeks of May in China, India, and Pakistan, whereas cotton yarns prices moved differently in the three countries in the meantime. The return to lockdown in India and Pakistan is in sharp contrast with China's rebound in its post-Covid period. Our report compares the cotton fiber and yarn prices in China, India, and Pakistan, in the past months and the month-to-date, offering a comprehensive and updated view of the yarn/fiber spreads in the three countries.
