Polyester staple fiber prices have continued rising in September in China, India and Pakistan, if considering average prices over the month, whereas cotton prices were dropping or staying stable. As a result, the price difference between cotton and polyester has sharply fallen in the three countries, although PSF prices remain everywhere below cotton prices.
