Intended for systems designers using Altera FPGAs, Industrial Functional Safety Data Package v3 provides TÜV Rheinland-certified toolflows, IP, and devices including Cyclone V FPGAs, accelerating time to market for industrial safety solutions to IEC 61508 up to Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL3). Altera Safety Design Partitioning toolflow gives designers ability to separate safe and non-safe portions of design, allowing user updates of non-safe portion with minimal safety re-certification effort.
