Position Reference 041 RHEA Group has the possibility to be part of the ESA Earth Observation Exploitation Platform Common Architecture project. This Exploitation Platform aim to create a unique opportunity for a wide adoption and use of Earth Observation EO data across many areas of activities, by bringing the user to the data i.e. move user exploitation to hosted environments with collocated computing and storage. This will lead to a platformbased ecosystem that provides infrastructure, data, computing and software as a service. In order to bring complementary expertise to the existing RHEA Group team, we are currently looking for a Database User Management specialist with confirmed OpenSource knowledge. Activities and expertise The scope of the service will include the following tasks Participate to the refinement of an open architecture and develop a reference implementation of the architecture that uses open interfaces to link together building blocks, using an agile approach Elaborate the systemlevel design and interface definitions, in collaboration with the devOps teams Design and document our domain building blocks and interfaces Develop and integrate the building blocks, either by implementation or reuseconfiguration of existing components Validate and release the building blocks in accordance with the agile schedule Produce administration, maintenance and user documentation for each building block Update the building blocks based upon stakeholder feedback and for alignment with evolving OGC standards Support and take account of the outcomes of OGC innovation programme in the evolving Common Architecture design. Experience and background For the Database User Management Specialist, applicants should have Master or Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Sciences or related areas, At least 4 years of experience in Database management, data base software engineering, data base user segment systems or similar areas, Strong expertise in Open Source, Previous experience in the Space sector and ideally in EO is a strong asset, Strong communication and integration skills in international environment, Proactive solutionoriented mindset, Fluency in English C1 level, Holding or eligibility to an EU Security Clearance.
