A rising share of the public, and young people especially, are choosing not to get driver's licenses, part of a long-term trend that could lead to big changes for automakers. "What's changing is the car-ownership model, and that is really important," said Giorgio Rizzoni, director of the Center for Automotive Research at Ohio State University.
