For Astrium Space Transportation in Bremen within the area Vehicle Engineering for the department Product Design we are looking for a Design Engineer fm. As a Design Engineer for development activities of systems and subsystems for space vehicles and upper stages, your main activities will include General design and detailed design activities for equipment, tanks, structures, lines, harnesses, brackets, etc. considering all design and manufacturing requirements and manufacturing processes In addition, requirement management, focused on the geometrical requirements for space vehicles and upper stages, which must be performed with DOORS, e.g. for all interface specifications Envelopes, interfaces and geometrical tolerances for all subsystems must be defined in the interface specifications and must be negotiated with the subcontractors, considering designtocost and industrialisation aspects We are looking for candidates with the following skills Engineering degree General Engineering, Aerospace or similar Good skills in 3D CAD tool Catia V5 or similar, DOORS and data management systems VPM, Primes, or similar Experience in the development of complex systems and the geometric dimensioning and tolerancing GDT Good knowledge of requirements management processes Language skills English advanced, German fluent, French would be a plus TO APPLY click here
