Purpose To design an implement Digital Signal Processing boards for Spacecraft communication systems, including programmingvalidation, digital circuit design and debugging. Aerospace or Defence background advantageous. Key Tasks Design authority within specialty Maintain and develop design function within specialty Liaise with Technical Authority, Mechanical engineers, and Program Managers Qualifications Essential Degree in Electronics or similar experience High speed digital design layout, signal integrity analysis Design for Manufacture Test 5 years plus in digital electronic design, preferably with systems design experience and broad awareness of test issues Digital circuits designs discrete embedded Familiarity with Modulation schemes associated with Terrestrial or space based communications systems Signal Processing experience Desirable DSP and FPGA programming experience in spacecraft or terrestrial communication systems Experience of ORCAD CC , MATLAB, VHDL programming schematic entry, embedded software development, firmware software validation A team worker able to communicate with colleagues of all levels of ability and technical disciplines, selfstarter, good interpersonal skills and proactive approach
