E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)

2019-03-20 18:25:12| EmergingTextiles.com

EU's clothing imports have slowed down in the first month of the year, staying flat in volume terms by contrast with the surge of January 2018. The fall of the euro in the meantime has depressed demand with China but also Bangladesh being negatively affected by the new long-term trends. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed, and a specific focus on China vs Rest of World (RoW) and Bangladesh, and on knit vs woven clothing. Data are supplied in euro and in US dollars with historical data available for download, back to January 2000.
