E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)

2019-07-18 16:23:27| EmergingTextiles.com

European clothing imports have continued recovering in May for the second consecutive month, as a clear sign that the fall of the euro is progressively digested. Chinese shipments are no more significantly falling, with the Bangladeshi origin being negatively affected by the surge of minimum wages in the country. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed, and a specific focus on China vs. Rest of World (RoW) and Bangladesh, and on knit vs. woven clothing. Data are supplied in euros and US dollars with historical data available for download, back to January 2000.
