Airbus Defence and Space A vacancy for a EEE Electronic, Electrical and Electromechanical Components Engineer Group Leader has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. The successful applicant will join the EEE Parts Space Systems Support France Team. You will be responsible for providing quality and expertise services for EEE Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical parts to a prime contractors project team. You will optimize the selection process of EEE parts and support the procurement with reference to the requirements, interfacing with all Airbus Defence Space actors involved in the EEE parts process. You will manage the external subcontractors in your domain and support the project team, interfacing with the final customer for all EEE parts dossiers. You will manage an engineering team of 5 people with direct responsibility technical coaching verification, workload, annual interviews, etc.. This activity will represent 20 of your working time. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Definition of EEE parts requirements applicable to the project, Consolidation of EEE parts document Declared Components Lists DCL, alerts, etc, Review and approval of subcontractors compliance to project requirements, Participation or support to project reviews, Approval of components selection via Part Approval Documents PADs of Justification Dossiers JDs issued by subcontractors, Management of Parts Control Boards PCBs assessing all EEE activities done by subcontractors, with final customer representation as required, Support Project Reviews and Approval of Non Conformance Reviews related to EEE parts, Management of EEE alerts application by subcontractors, Assessment of EEE parts activities done by subcontractors, Contribution to Project reporting and management of EEE parts documentation, Team management. This role will involve some travel for business twice per week in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to Master degree level or equivalent in Electronics or a related discipline. Electronic and technological knowledge of different EEE parts families, Ideally, knowledge of the space EEE parts market and the associated normative environment European and US, Experience in working with project organisations end customer prime subcontractors, An advanced level of English, French would be a plus.
