Experience Several years 5 years of practical experience in technical management of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components in military or space sector. Several years of experience in materials management with SAP. Applicants must be able to work thoroughly and systematically, to work with other engineers in project teams and under pressure tight schedules, fixed date deliveries, etc.. Ability to work simultaneously in different projects. Good team workers, engaged, capable to assume responsibility for own small project Ability to communicate with engineers, project management and customer representatives Flexibility to travel. Special knowledge Good knowledge of different standards and norms concerning qualification level, reliability, incl. ESAESCCECSS and MIL specifications Mastery of production processes for components, relevant test procedures for verification of the qualification levels, relevant test methods for component screening Experiences in radiation requirements for EEE components Experiences in exportimport regulations for EEE components ITAR, AER, etc.. Functions Coordination of space component procurement measures, with the aim To identify long lead parts and start their timely procurement To support the developers for the definition of components and to envisage a high degree of standardization of the used components To coordinate the component procurement with the purchasing department in order to guarantee the scheduled supply and to maintain the agreed budget To offer a central point of contact for service providers in the field of components, e.g. TESAT or ALTER To track the status of PPLs and QMLs or to keep in touch with manufacturers and distributors in order to identify and react promptly to changes of the requirements, component availability or manufacturing processes To pool the experiences resulting from the component procurement measures procurement bottlenecks, cost, additional qualification tests and to make the knowledge accessible for the benefit of the proposal work for new projects Preparation of parts procurement specifications Preparation of parts approval documentation intended for entry in the PPL. Ensuring export compliance w.r.t. components subject to export control. Interface with the project Harmonization of requirements for component selection with the customer or CPPA. Assistance in the execution of reviews Tracking of changes made in requirement documents Establishment of cost estimates Definition of long lead items and cost drivers Establishment of Declared Components List Establishment of analyses w.r.t. component reliability, radiation behavior Issue of RFAs and PAD Parts Approval Documents Establishment of component and procurement specifications Coordination of component procurement via service companies, like Bosch Establishment of component organization plans Parts Control Plan Processingtracking of alerts obsolete parts. Interface with development department Assistance in defining the components and their creation and maintenance in SAP Evaluation of new components or their manufacturing processes Control of the component order code w.r.t compliance with the requirements Creation and maintenance of a central database Clarification of technical issues with the component manufacturers Organization of supplementary qualification tests Providing support to developers w.r.t. ESAESCCECSSMIL specifications and their changes Providing support for issuing parts lists creation and import of parts lists into SAP Configuration control of the layouts Establishment of EndUse Statements w.r.t. components subject to export control Assistance in defining and ordering PCBs.
