We are currently looking for an EMC Engineer to support our customer in Germany. EMC Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. As EMC Engineer for the MTG project Meteosat Third Generation, you will hold the central responsibility for the work package EMC in space programs during the phases BCD. Your tasks will include Engineering in the areas of Electromagnetic Compatibility EMC Radio Frequency Compatibility RFC Magnetic cleanliness MAG Electrostatic Discharge ESD Point of contact towards the customer and suppliers for all above subjects Analysis of customer and mission requirements Flow down of upper level requirements to functional chains, subsystem and equipment requirements Performance or coordination of the related analyses, delivery of the related models and documentation Coengineering with equipment suppliers w.r.t. EMC aspects, coordination of relevant design and MAIT activities at supplier level Support of project team members and other disciplines for EMC matters Support of relevant operations and AIT activities at system level Contribution to related internalexternal RD and improvementsstandardisation initiatives. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline Professional experience in the areas mentioned above Extensive experience in hardware design EMC or RF testing is an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an advantage.
