We are looking to further enhance our team by adding an EMC Engineer You will be based at our clients premises in Noordwijk, Netherlands. In this large European Agency you will find an excellent and modern working environment with challenging tasks and responsibilities. Your Tasks Include The general responsibilities of the engineer will be as follows Functional Support in EMC engineering to Agencys Projects throughout all phases of Project life cycle. This includes Definition and assessment of EMC requirements at both System and Equipment level. Definition and assessment of EMC test and verification procedures of spacecraft equipment and systems Electromagnetic and circuital analyses. Assessment of EMC test results, EMC nonconformances and Request for Waivers Troubleshooting activities for spacecraft equipment and system exhibiting electromagnetic interference Active participation to Spacecraft or payloads Preliminary Design Reviews PDR, Critical Design Reviews CDR and Flight Acceptance Reviews FAR Supporting projects for EMC throughout all phases with review, analysis and assessment of test results Witness EMC tests and perform tests in the TECEPE EMC lab including DC magnetic measurements and AC magnetic measurements. Act as support to ESA Payload Safety Review Panel for electrical safety and EMC Your Profile The successful candidate should have the following qualifications and experience A university PhD or Masters degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with major emphasis on Electromagnetics. Experience in the following areas Background and experience in EMC as well as Lab testing for EMC. At least 4 years expertise in EMC analysis and testing through relevant industrial work experience Proven industrial experience in spacecraft work ideally an EMC engineer who can perform DC magnetic measurements as well as measurements in an AC magnetic measurement facility Expertise in using Matlab for data processing and evaluation. Ability to work in a team as well as independently, good communication organisational skills. Proactive attitude to solving problems. Acquaintance with both Industrial EMC practices and the Agency review processes. Assessment of EMC test data, specifications and request for Waivers Experience with EMC system and equipment engineering Background and experience in EMC as well as Lab testing for EMC Ability to work in a team as well as independently, good communication skills Fluent in English knowledge of another ESA memberstate language is an asset Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
