We are looking for an EMC and Antenna Measurements Engineer E3 to join our Ajilon Technology Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. Ajilon Technology Aerospace is a specialized Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years experience providing aerospace Engineers to our key partners in The Netherlands. Ajilon is a longstanding business partner of the European Space Agency ESA, with more than 115 employees recruited from across Europe currently supporting ESAs activities. Specific tasks to be performed Supporting projects for EMC throughout all phases with review, analysis and assessment of test results Witness EMC tests and perform tests in the TECEPE EMC lab Act as support to ESA Payload Safety Review Panel for el. safety and EMC. General tasks to be performed Functional Support in EMC engineering to Agencys Projects throughout all phases of Project life cycle. This includes Definition and assessment of EMC requirements at both System and Equipment level. Definition and assessment of EMC test and verification procedures of spacecraft equipment and systems. Electromagnetic and circuital analyses. Assessment of EMC test results, EMC nonconformances and Request for Waivers. Troubleshooting activities for spacecraft equipment and system exhibiting electromagnetic interference. Active participation to Spacecraft or payloads Preliminary Design Reviews PDR, Critical Design Reviews CDR and Flight Acceptance Reviews FAR. To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background experience is required PhD or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering. Background and experience in EMC as well as Lab testing for EMC, preferably in spacecraft systems. Expertise in EMC analysis and testing through industrial experience. Expertise in using Matlab for data processing and evaluation. Ability to work in a team as well as independently, good communication skills. Acquaintance with both Industrial EMC practices and the Agency review processes. Assessment of EMC test data, specifications and request for Waivers. About ESAESTEC The European Space Agency ESA has sites in several European countries. The European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC is the largest site and the technical heart of ESA. This nursery of European space activities is located in Noordwijk, Netherlands. At ESTEC, about 2500 engineers, technicians and scientists work handson with mission design, spacecraft and space technology. Almost all ESA projects except launchers are managed from ESTEC. In Noordwijk, people work on science missions, manned space missions, Earth observation, telecommunications and navigation satellites. ESTEC provides extensive testing facilities to verify the proper operation of spacecraft, such as the Large Space Simulator LSS, acoustic and electromagnetic testing bays, multiaxis vibration tables and the ESA Propulsion Laboratory EPL.
