Please send your application for this role to Ms. Roxana Sasu at the following email address r.sasuvitrocisetbelgium.com Deadline before 26.02.2018 Key Responsibilities The IV activities shall focus on the integration of subsegments into the EPS SG System and Ground Segment by verification of relevant interfaces, followed by verification of Ground Segment requirements apportioned to each version. The service shall be mainly provided at the EUMETSAT headquarters in Darmstadt, as required, and occasionally at the ground station sitesRemote Mission Control Centre site. Part of the work may be performed at the Vitrociset Belgium premises. Travel within Europe may be needed for the execution of specific tests, to be specified within the relevant work packages. The bulk of ground segment and system IV work is related to the integration verification and preparation of the Ground Segment and System to support the launch of the first MetopSG satellite scheduled for late 2021. Additional activities are required to ensure the support of the 2nd satellite 18 months later. The candidates will be part of a Service Team to support the Integration Verification activities of the EPSSG Overall Ground System OGS. Preparatory Activities for the IV Analysis of the Verification Control Documentation, including the verification by testing definition of testing activities Analysis of IV test runs at subsegment MCOPDAP level Writing of integration and verification test specifications Identification of test tools and test data Writing of detailed test procedures based on relevant specifications and documentation Analysis of problems and management of anomalies Contribution to the IV plans, support EUMETSAT during project reviews in relation to IV documentation Integration activities Scheduling Executing of all integration activities in close coordination with EUMETSAT Organising holding Integration Test Readiness Reviews TRRs Performing integration activities and testing according Supporting, organising and holding of different review board meetings Verification activities Scheduling executing of all verification activities and testing Maintaining the Overall Ground Segment Verification Control Document and recording of all tests in DOORS Organising Test Readiness and Test Reviews Supporting Anomaly Reviews Work tasks Management Programmatic Support Preparatory Activities.
