Bangladesh has become the largest supplier of the European Union in knit clothing categories in volume, but also in value terms. China is rapidly losing ground in most categories of products, due to a rise of its unit prices. Competitors of both suppliers have less benefited form China's setback than Bangladesh with results being very different depending on categories and origins, as usual. Our series of comparison tables offer a comprehensive view of EU clothing imports per HS 4-digit category with volume, value and unit price changes, while market shares are also calculated for each major supplying country.
