European clothing imports from Bangladesh began seriously slowing down in March, as a possible sign that buyers were alerted by November fire at Tazreen factory. Shipments to the EU had previously doubled in January, however, reflecting a long term shift from China to Bangladesh, as indicated by our statistical tables per category of products for EU and US markets
