HE Space is a successful international space company. For 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for an Electrical AITAIV Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Electrical AITAIV Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will provide AIT support to the Aeolus project. Your responsibilities will cover Monitoring the AITAIV plans produced by the satellite prime contractor and ensuring that they are coherent and consistent with the baseline schedule Identifying potential risks to the schedule and identifying workaround solutions and risk mitigations Ensuring that all GSE is complete, configured and properly verified in time for AIT activities Ensuring that SW and automated procedures required for SC verification are consistent with the needs Monitoring the completeness of all AITAIV activities up to launch Supporting the Aeolus launch campaign. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Physics, Electrical, Aerospace or equivalent engineering discipline Solid experience in system level functional and performance testing Previous experience of at least one complete satellite test and launch campaign in an AITAIV role Experience in satellite verification engineering Good knowledge of GSE operations and infrastructure Availability to witness tests and to participate to AIT activities for relatively long periods abroad Fluency in English is mandatory, the knowledge of another European language will be an advantage. This job is nominally located in Noordwijk and involves extensive travel to the UK. We are looking for candidates who are available from June 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
