ALTRAN Space Division is looking for an engineer for Electrical Ground Support Equipment EGSE to join our team in Stuttgart, Bremen, Friedrichshafen and Munich. We offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic multinational team environment on one of the leading European Space Project. Job description Evaluation of requirements for the EGSE in cooperation with the system engineering department Design and definition of EGSE Establishment of validation plan DDVPlan Report to the customer within milestone reviews Support the procurement process, mainly for technical issues Preparation of specifications Participation in reviews with the suppliers Involvement in the acceptance process Planning and execution of system acceptance and system integration Training of AIT personnel for EGSE usage Candidate profile A degree in electrical engineering, aerospace technology, physics or comparable qualification Some years of experience in satellite AIT or EGSE use Knowledge of ECSS standards for testing and verification of software and hardware Knowledge of Space Craft Checkout Systems CCS, preferably running under SCOS 2000 Version 3.1 TOPE, is an asset Experience in EGSE validation High motivation and commitment to the project Used to tough project targets and challenges Welldeveloped communication skills and handson mentality Excellent conceptual and analytical skills Fluency in spoken and written English.
