Description Maintenance, calibration and repair of electronic Measurement Instrumentation, development of optoelectronic measurements methods for testing applications. Maintenance and calibration of the inhouse standards for precision measurements of AC voltage, DC voltage, capacitance, frequency, RF power and attenuation. Maintenance of the LEP Quality Management system and of the accreditation to ISO 17025. Responsibility to maintain the present scopes of ISO 17025 accreditation of the Laboratory Equipment Pool Humidity and Temperature, Resistance, Capacitance, DC voltages. Support new scopes of accreditation for the Laboratory Equipment Pool. Perform electrical integration, electrical maintenance and electrical documentation tasks for the ESTEC test Centre and the ESTEC laboratories. Perform low voltage electrical safety inspection. Administration of the activities performed by an external contractor for the provision of calibration and repair services of electronic instruments. Profile A significant experience matured in electronic test laboratories and a good knowledge of engineering measurement methodologies are requested. The candidate should have a Technical Degree BSc Diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of relevant working experience. Familiarity with implementation and management of databases is also necessary. Knowledge in one or more of the following areas would be an asset o ISO 17025 processes and accreditations. o Electrical CAD software. o Electrical safety inspection. o Computer databases. Applicants shall be able to work on a selfstanding base and provide flexibility and enthusiasm for the performed tasks. The postholder shall focus on providing a continuous improvement of the working environment, effectively liaising with colleagues and keeping up to date in time the technical knowhow of the Laboratory Equipment Pool. Fluent in English and some knowledge of Dutch would be an asset.
