We are currently looking for an Electronics System Engineer for Space Avionics to support our customer in Germany. Electronics System Engineer for Space Avionics Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Team, you will have the following responsibilities Specification of avionics components and architectures considering the European Cooperation on Space Standardization ECSS guidelines and customer standards Definition and compatibility analysis of electrical interfaces and related documentation Writing of technical documentation e.g. project plans, development and verification documents Support of configuration management Planning and Managing of Avionics Design, Development, Manufacturing and Test according to ECSS Standards Analysis of customer requirements and assessments of technical consequences Preparation and description of technical concepts Verification and testing of communication systems and components. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering Professional experience in development, manufacturing testing and usage of complex electronic systems and components for space avionics as well as Project Management Knowledge and work experience in the use of ECSS Standards and DOORS Knowledge of digital communication standards e.g. Time Triggered, USB, Ethernet, SpaceWire or WiFi Service and customer orientation with high sense of responsibility and considerable diplomatic skills in connection with a good apprehension Selfassurance and the ability to make decisions independently High motivation and reliability High interest in technical challenges Fluency English is mandatory, knowledge of German is an advantage.
