A vacancy for a Enterprise Application Integration Technical Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Stevenage. The Enterprise Application Integration Team helps to integrate many individual applications across a complex European system landscape. Service Oriented Architecture SOA has recently been introduced to improve the quality of system integration. The team implements and supports European wide systems integration, while retaining local national expertise necessary to support country based initiatives. The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Responsible for technically managing integration projects from start to finish Responsible for technically managing integration work packages within business projects Responsible for managing the technical activities performed by external partners Manage assigned technical resources within budget and project schedule Responsible for providing appropriate technical support relating to Enterprise Application Integration EAI and Service Oriented Architecture SOA either directly or in collaboration with external partners Responsible for planning technical work to meet changing needs and requirements Need to work closely with other teams to define and implement the full solution and to ensure the ongoing operation of assigned services In collaboration with other teams, perform technical analysis and assessment of new requests in order to help determine the optimum solution and its feasibility Work with the software users and business management to ensure that the software is being used in the most effective way possible Follow agreed standards and procedures for all activities Ensure unit tests and integration tests are performed using business case scenarios to demonstrate the software is functional Responsible for providing suitable technical documentation to assist any future process evolution and the ongoing support of the software. This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Previous experience working with complex business application EAI, ERP, Data warehouse etc. Experience of Integration projects would be an advantage Project Management experience with good ability to coordinate activities TIBCO experience BWEMS, Hawk, Administrator, Eclipse, Java, SQL would be desirable Must possess strong analytical and diagnostic skills Effective communicator working across countries and business areas Fluent level in English.
