We are currently looking for a Flight Dynamics Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Flight Dynamics Engineer FDE Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European organization providing weather and climaterelated satellite data, images and products for its users. You will have the following responsibilities Support to the ground segment operational preparation activities in the area of Flight Dynamics as required prior to satellite launch including Flight Dynamics database preparation definition of operational procedures generation of related operational configuration data operational validation of satellite and groundsegment operations Support Flight Dynamics activities during launch and commissioning Spacecraft orbit determination and prediction, events computation and generation of related orbit products or predictions Attitude and Orbit Control System AOCS telecommand parameter generation and telemetry monitoring as necessary Planning and execution of spacecraft manoeuvres. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant field Demonstrated thorough understanding of space flight dynamics concepts and techniques, with special emphasis on Low Earth Orbit LEO regimes Several years experience of flight dynamics system development or operations based on NAPEOS or derived software Programmingsoftware development F90, TCLITK, Matlab, Java Fluency in English is mandatory.
