For the location in Darmstadt Germany we are looking for a Flight Dynamics Software Engineer fm to strengthen our existing team. We are seeking for a candidate, who will initially support the evolution of our Flight Dynamics software product PLENITEROrbit with the option to later join the Flight Dynamics team providing support to our customers onsite. Tasks The successful candidates will initially work in our Darmstadt office to support the evolution of our Flight Dynamics software supporting all earthcentered orbit regimes. This includes Orbit Determination Manoeuvre Planning, Optimisation and Calibration FD Product Generation Collision Avoidance Support Coverage and Contact Analysis Event Prediction Interfaces for data exchange with internal and external entities Attitude modelling Our Flight Dynamics software is based on an underlying operationally proven astrodynamics computation engine driven by an intuitive scripting language. Essential requirements A university degree in aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent A sound knowledge of celestial mechanics and spacecraft flight dynamics Experience in sw programming and in particular with modern scripting languages Experience with flight dynamics software tools, procedures and data exchange formats Experience with modern scripting languages, MATLAB and WindowsUNIX operating systems Other Information Familiarity with Flight Dynamics operations operational experience would be an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory The candidate must have a valid German work and residence permit or be an EU Citizen
