Available in 4, 6, and 8 mm metric sizes as well as 5/32, ¼, and 5/16 in. sizes, flow controllers offer 2-stage speed control to regulate exhaust speed and absorb shock in pneumatic cylinders. Design also includes 3 needles for adjusting initial cylinder speed (first stage), brake speed (second stage), and speed shift timing. Second stage speed provides cushion and reduces speed at end of the stroke, consequently lessening shock by up to 1/9 while retaining same cycle time.
