Ford Motor Co is set to expand its investment in Thailand, building a second automobile factory in Rayong to make more cars and pickup trucks for export mainly to Asean and further in Asia. Mark Kaufman, president for Asean, said the company was confident of growing demand in Asia, especially in the Asean market, which is due to become a single market of 625 people with greater buying power as the Asean Economic Community starts at year-end.
