Description of the job A vacancy for a French MILSATCOM Services Project Manager mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. Airbus Defence and Space is the leading MILSATCOM service provider thanks to its existing fleet of XUHF SKYNET satellites in UK. Additional capacities will become available and sellable to the market in 2022. For this, new infrastructures must be deployed to sell these capacities as managed services and therefore the role requires to interface with thirdparty partners and customers. This job opportunity is open to ensure the best positioning of Airbus Defence and Space as the leading service provider for French MILSATCOM services. Tasks accountabilities Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Be the focal point for French MILSATCOM Service Delivery towards the different interfaces and stakeholders Drive the functional definition of the Airbus Defence and Space French MILSATCOM service provider solution Manage the deployment and operations of the Airbus Defence and Space French MILSATCOM service provider solution. Be the responsibility owner for OTOQOC. Analyze and develop interests of Airbus Defence and Space as a channel partner service provider. Support the development of a product and marketing roadmap to position French MILSATCOM services as the leading solution for European governmental users. The job holder will be supported in his tasks by a central multifunction pool of resources Strategy, Service Delivery, Engineering, Procurement, Programs, Finance, Legal, Commercial and Contract etc.. This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Companys success, reputation and sustainable growth. Required skills You will have the following skills and experience Educated to a Telecommunication engineering degree level or equivalent. Satellite Communication Services end to end System architecture Capability to develop and manage a full end to end Product service definition Very good knowledge of satellite communication Military operational requirements and usages Very good knowledge of international agencies such as NATO and EDA is a plus Agility to adapt to new business Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organisation skills, autonomy, team spirit and leadership Negotiation level of English and French Apply HERE
