We are currently looking for a Future Studies Technology Development Engineer to support our customer in the Netherlands. Future Studies Technology Development Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Earth Observation DEOP Directorate at the European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC, you will have the following responsibilities Support the identification of the technology requirements for future Earth observations missions, including in support of European industries competitiveness Providing support to technology developments for future Earth Observation missions, that are conducted in the technology coordination section Support ESAs technology harmonisation process Support missions under preparation through participation to reviews, assessment of industrial results Maintaining and improving the Earth Observation technology database Providing support to technology developments within the new and prospective ESA member states Poland, Romania, Hungary, Estonia and PECS countries Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification Solid knowledge of techniques used in Earth Observation missions Solid background in satellite system and subsystem technologies Relevant experience according to the task description Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
