We are currently looking for a Galileo Ground Segment Engineer to work in the beautiful city of Prague. Galileo is Europes Global Navigation Satellite System GNSS, providing improved positioning and timing information with significant positive implications for many European services and users. The objective of this role is to support the ground segment engineering activities. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Follow up of the G2G ground segment activities Review of the proposed architecture Analysis of the impact on G1G hosting entities Advise on the compatibility with current architecture and corresponding constraints Follow up of the hosting entities new equipment in the scope of G1G evolution Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Masters Degree in the relevant discipline. At least 5 years of experience in Galileo Ground Segment Fluency in English Understanding of the current situation on hosting capabilities i.e. maximum number of racks in GCCs and the possible evolutions Organised, dynamic and proactive Security clearance EU Secret will be necessary but is not mandatory to start the activities How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
