Herhis main task is to support the Ground Segment operations and maintenance activities and its evolutions taking care transversally of the Galileo infrastructure related aspects. Shehe is responsible for Defining the Galileo Ground Segment Integrated Logistic Support ILS concepts GCC, GDDN, Services Facilities and remote sites Specifying the Galileo Ground Segment ILS and Obsolescence Management HWSW requirements Maintaining the technical requirements baseline related to Infrastructure, Local Operations and Security, and ensuring their consistency and evolution according to the Galileo System configuration Defining the Asset Management Strategy e.g. spare parts, test equipment, and reviewing the Asset Utilization Plan Analysing the Key Performance Indicators related to the Sites management and the obsolescence reports Managing the hosting sites entities and services contracts, and associated Services Level Agreements, including risk and changes proposals Ensuring the technical interface with the Industries and national authorities for what concerns Ground Segment ILS and Hosting services Following Technology market evolution to cope with programme needs in term of HWSW obsolescence and evolution Defining adequate level of priority for obsolescence mitigation, based on the Obsolescence Survey Report and Asset Inventory provided by the Industries Assessing Equipments evolution impact on services provision and operations Participating to the Ground Segment Evolutions development reviews and Contract Change Board relevant to the tasks under herhis responsibility Managing background and foreground IPR dependencies, which shall be used or accessed by the Galileo Services Operator in order to perform the tasks entrusted Supporting Industries in dealing with ITAR sensitive documentation, ensuring that all processes are in place Liaising with the GSA Legal and Contracts Department and with the Administration and Finance Department for Sites contracts Supporting the Galileo Exploitation Team for any topics related to Galileo services and system evolution.
