TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Galileo System Engineer reports to the Galileo Infrastructure Evolution Manager. Herhis main task is to support the System Engineering and the Ground Segment infrastructure activities and its evolutions taking care transversally of the Galileo operations and maintenance related aspects. Shehe is responsible for Manage the GSA system engineering support activities Support the mission evolutions and elaborate their system implementation plan Review the Statement of Compliance of the infrastructure Follow the Change Management Procedures for the implementation of changes or evolution Coordinate and support the review of the System and Segment qualification datapackages Lead the acceptance of the qualified system deliveries Participate in Industrial reviews Participate to the REX process related to improving the infrastructure and the way it is operated and maintained Review the ESA and Industrial management reports Guarantee the configuration of the system infrastructure baseline Initiate and manage procurements within the GSAESA working arrangement Support ESA for the procurement of industrial activities Review and evaluate the industrial proposals on the Galileo System Contribute to the elaboration and reporting of the system and infrastructure related risks Review the inventory of assets tangible and intangible provided by industries Prepare transfer of assets of qualified infrastructure to Galileo Service Provider Contribute to the smooth integration of the Galileo infrastructure and its operations Interface with ESA Galileo System Team on the Galileo infrastructure evolutions Support and review the definition of the work related to Galileo infrastructure evolutions plans and roadmaps Followup the security aspects of analysis and evolutions related to infrastructure Support Industries in dealing with ITAR sensitive documentation, ensuring that all processes are in place Deliver reports Liaise with the GSA Legal and Contracts Department and with the Administration and Finance Department for contracts Support the Galileo Exploitation Team for any topics related to Galileo services and system evolution.
