JOB DESCRIPTION GMV is looking for a highly motivated Ground Segment Engineer You will be part of the Satellite Ground Segment Programs division. This division delivers turnkey Satellite Ground Segment projects to key clients in the aerospace industry. Satellite Ground Segments are typically composed of the following subsystems TTC antenna, Mission Control Satellite, Mission Planning, Flight Dynamics, Operations Preparation, Operations Automation, Configuration Management Subsystems, and Monitoring and Control. The division establishes the interface with the final client. We are responsible at system level for the full production lifecycle specification of requirements and interfaces with the allocation to subsystems, design of the solution, integration of the subsystems, verification and validation of the system, and finally onsite system deployment. The position requires knowledge of the following key areas satellite ground segment, system engineering, the ECSS standard and associated lifecycles, validation and verification. Willing to travel within Europe, with stays of several days if required. What do we offer in return?
