For our activities in ESTEC, we are currently looking for a Ground Segment Security Engineer. Main responsibilities The work includes design, analysis, implementation and testing of radio navigation systems, with emphasis on GNSS security. Tasks and responsibilities will include GNSS System implementation and verification including ground segment control and processing facilities and GNSS security Support to the Galileo project in the monitoring of industrial contracts for the development of radio navigation equipment, including generating technical requirements and statements of work. The tasks supporting GALILEO Security would be the following GALILEO Ground Control Segment GCS Security Integration Verification and Qualification SECIVQ activities test, credit collection and anomalies followup Secure Test campaigns for GCS Qualification and Acceptance Reviews GCS engineering activities and reviews requirements, key point design, Test Readiness and Results, Qualification and Acceptance review of test procedures and reports establishing and maintaining GCS security requirements Ideal candidate As successful candidate you should have a University degree MSc in telecommunications and signal processing or electronic engineering and at least 4 years of experience in these fields. Furthermore you should bring the following Specific knowledge in the design and testing of Radio Navigation systems and equipment Strong knowledge on the design of satellite navigation systems, in addition to GNSS security and processing facilities At least 4 years of experience with the GNSS and GALILEO systems and equipment and good knowledge of Radio Navigation processing, and testing systems Be specialist in the implementation, maintenance and operation of complex Radio Navigation processing and test facilities Must be eligible for security clearance from their national security administration.
