Your Tasks Include The Ground Segment System Engineer GSE shall support the Sentinel3 Operations with respect to our Clients S3 Ground Segment maintenance and necessary evolutions, including the necessary coordination with the other S3 Ground Segments centres and Core Ground Stations at architectural and system engineering level and also for the related functions and interfaces with the Clients MultiMission Elements MMEs. In addition, the Ground Segment Engineer shall provide support to the AIV activities during the integration of the S3 ground Segment and shall coordinate the verification of the new systems and their interfaces into the Clients Sentinel3 ground segment. The Key Persons duties will include a range of tasks, including among others Preparing and providing support to the day to day operation and maintenance of the S3 Ground Segment. Analysis and ground segment level testing of the facilities. Your Profile The consultant should have the following background At least 5 years experience in the area of System Engineering for the development or major upgrades of Ground Segments of Earth Observation missions, or main components of them, based on large scale software systems. It is requested that the candidates have experience in supporting the operations and maintenance of operational Ground Segments or main components of them, as well as in the engineering evolutions of such components, with its test data and test tools, preferably in the area of 24h7d operational remote sensing satellites.
