We are currently looking for a Ground Station Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will have the following responsibilities Reviewing the Compatibility Verification Matrix, Test Procedures and test results Definition and execution for the Radio Frequency Compatibility test plan and production of the Test Report Maintain a plan of usage of Ground Station equipment Support the procurement of Ground Station equipment Configure and validate the Ground Station equipment Support the operations functions. Maintenance of the Station configuration Support the station upgrade processes from the review of requirements to the validation and handover to operations. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Master degree in engineering or equivalent qualification Telecommunication Engineering knowledge, i.e. RF expertise including practical experience as RF engineer for groundstations GroundStation knowledge i.e. architecture, subsystem maintenance and operations, incident management, station performance Configuration control expertise i.e. knowledge and experience in configuration management Expertise on production of technical reports reflecting the performed tests and the associated results Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. The following experience would be advantageous Understanding of RF Compatibility Tests Familiarity with the satellite Ground Station environment processes, configuration control Familiarity with ground station control processes and setup Some experience dealing with external interfaces like MO and industrial suppliers Familiarity with Ground station maintenance and operations.
