Designed for streaming on mobile devices to ultra-high resolution displays, HEVC decoder enables real-time processing of 1080p @ 30 fps sequences on dual- and quad-core Cortex-A processors. Ultra HD (4k) sequences are decoded at frame rates up to 24 fps. Leveraging capabilities of NEON SIMD engine and multi-threading, solution exploits data and functional parallelism on ARM Cortex microprocessor cores. Implementation is load balanced and scalable across single- and multi-core devices.
