HYDRON Software Engineer Student Engineer Deadline for submission to Client 24082021 Job Description We are looking for a HYDRON Software Engineer Student Engineer on behalf of our client for their location in Immenstadt, Germany, to join their Simulation Modeling team. The team comprises departments in the UK, France and Germany and provides a core capability for simulator development, onboard SW test as well as technical SW product development for spacecraft platforms, payloads and equipment. In the area of simulators, the department is responsible for producing the infrastructure that enables successful spacecraft avionics programs. There are a number of existing and new innovative projects that require software engineering capabilities and shape the design of high quality software and new products. The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and not by our Client. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to Tasks and Responsibilities Definition of a network system architecture Software development Definition of network routing and switching protocols Technical interface to the customer. Requirements Bachelors degree in Informatics or similar qualification Experience in C development Experience in the field of telecom systems mobile systems, data networks Experience in software architecture and development Experience in Space System Modeling Spacecraft Constellations Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers Knowledge in functional space system modeling spacecraftsatellite constellations, telecom systems mobile systems, data networks, switching and routing protocols, optical and radar communication systems systems is desirable Experience with functional space system simulation tools STK, discrete network event simulators omnet, ns3 as well as experience in operating system programming Linux, Windows 64 would be an advantage Business fluent in German Business fluent in English Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical people Good communication skills to ensure the flow of information Ability to integrate into a team High level of responsibility, ability to work under pressure and organizational skills.
