We are currently looking for a Harness Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Harness Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities You will have the following responsibilities Central responsibility for the work package Spacecraft Harness during the phases BCD Point of contact towards the customer and suppliers for all harness aspects Analysis of the applicable customer and mission requirements Flow down of upper level requirements to the harness requirements Creation of harness requirements specification applicable to manufacturers Harness definition using the tool Engineering Base Aucotec Definition of the geometrical harness design in cooperation with mechanical engineering Performance or coordination of the relevant analyses Coordination of supporting work packages Coengineering with harness suppliers Coordination of the harness suppliers and harness procurement in cooperation with the supply management Tracking of the relevant design and MAIT activities at supplier level Support of relevant operations and AIT activities at system level Contribution to related internalexternal RD and improvementsstandardisation initiatives. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in a relevant discipline Several years of professional experience in electrical interfaces and harness design Experience in manufacturing in aerospace or military programmes Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German or another European language is an advantage.
